Tri-Coastal Ride 2014

In June 2014 I have a geological conference in Golden Colorado. My Road King needs exercise, and it seems like a good idea to ride to Colorado from New York. I load her up, complete with a duct tape sealed poster tube, and follow NY-17 and I-86 through the Southern Tier of New York. About 300 miles in, I am warned that I might want to get home before the storm. That is not happening, so I find a hotel at an intersection called Cuba, New York. As the deluge sets in, I consider that I could still backtrack and catch a plane to Colorado like a sensible person.
