Mingus Mill, a turbine mill from 1886 used a cast iron turbine in place of a wooden water wheel. It was restored to operating condition by the National Park System in 1968. I soon reach the eastern entrance of the Park, and the southern end of the Blue Ridge Parkway (BRP).
