The MLO monitors CO2, SO2, aerosols, ozone, solar radiation, and other atmospheric components. On the left is the main MLO building, the dome at center houses the ozone detection spectrometer, the tower at right is used for air sample collection, and the building at far right is the repurposed original lab and quarters.
